KDC Coatings Ltd offers a range of on-site UPVC spraying services in the South-East. We can help you transform the look of your home or commercial property at a fraction of the cost of replacement fixtures.

With over 20 years’ experience in the spray painting industry, we take great pride in providing a professional service, with focused attention to detail to help you achieve the look you want.

In most instances where areas are looking tired or faded, the functionality could still be perfect. With a much cheaper option of a fresh coat of paint, costly replacements can be avoided and bring a new lease of life to your home.

From windows to kitchen cupboards, garage doors to internal walls and everything in between, KDC Coatings Ltd has got you covered.

Specialising in uPVC, we use a special industry specific coating designed to paint PVCu, (uPVC), PVC and other hard plastic such as ABS, polycarbonate, acrylic and polyester powder coatings. Unlike most paints for plastics, which try to stick to the substrate, the paint we use forms a molecular cross bond with the plastic surface.

This hard wearing paint has great UV properties for added protection and won’t crack or peel. It is guaranteed to adhere to plastic for a minimum period of 10 years.

Paint is available in a large range of BS or RAL colours and can be matched to your request. All paints are available in matt, satin or gloss, as well as metallic and pearlescent finishes.
We can also provide samples of painted surfaces so that you see the final product.

We spray:

  • uPVC windows, doors and conservatories
  • Soffits, fascia’s and guttering
  • GRP doors and garage doors
  • Aluminium windows and conservatories
  • Shop fronts
  • Kitchen cupboards and furniture

Our services are not limited to the above list, most things can be spray painted and if you have an item in mind, please give us a call to discuss.

The UPVC Spraying Process

Firstly, we prepare the area. Whether working inside or outside, we clear and remove any items necessary and cover all remaining areas.

We remove all of the old silicone to make sure the coating is being applied to the plastic and not silicone, as this would prevent the paint adhering. This helps to ensure a high quality finish for our 10 year guarantee.
Then, we meticulously clean the frames, ensuring all corners gaps and surfaces are spotless.

All areas are then masked off to ensure there is no overspray left on your glass or masonry. All opening windows are masked in a way to ensure they can be opened and closed during the process to ensure all areas and shuts are covered.

An abrasive cloth is then lightly used to roughen the surface for the UPVC Spraying coating to key to.

After this, another stronger cleaning agent is used to give a final clean and open the pores of the plastic to help create the molecular cross bond with the plastic surface.

Now we are ready for colour… paint will be checked for colour match, then using HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) specialist equipment to ensure minimum overspray, the colour coat is applied.

The coating only takes a few minutes to become touch dry (1-2 days to fully cure), so by the time we’ve cleaned and tidied our equipment away, it’s ready for a final inspection to check for any defects and imperfections.

We then unmask and reapply a fresh bead of silicone to give the area that fresh new look.
The final stage is something we do throughout the whole process and that’s make sure your property is as clean and tidy as when we arrived.
